NFDC North West Region raises £10,000
The NFDC North West Region’s 2015 Summer Ball raised a massive £10,000 for The Christie NHS Foundation Trust; who specialise in cancer treatment, research and education. They are the largest single site cancer centre in Europe treating more than 44,000 patients a year. Serving an immediate population of 3.2 million in the Greater Manchester and Cheshire area and also delivering a number of regional and national services.
KDC’s Safety and Operation’s Director and the NFDC North West Chairman, Martin O’Donnell presented The Christie Cancer Charity with their cheque for £10,000.
Martin is a founder Director of KDC when it was formed in 1990. He is currently the Director of Safety and is also responsible for operational management and procurement of plant and labour for the business.
Martin commented, “With KDC being a long-standing NFDC member and with my current position as the NFDC North West Region Chairman, it is a great honour and privilege for me to present this cheque of £10,000 to Christies”.
